The Polestar 2 is an upcoming all-electric 5-door fastback by automaker Polestar. Production is planned for early 2020 in Geely's existing plant in Luqiao, which already produces sister models Volvo XC40, Lynk and Co 01 and Lynk and Co 02.
The Polestar 2 was unveiled on 27 February 2019 during an internet livestream and made its first public appearance at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. The prices are expected to start at US$63,000 and €59,900.
It is the second car under the Polestar brand after the Polestar 1. The latter is however a plug-in hybrid, making the Polestar 2 the first BEV in the Volvo Car Group.
